Grit City Grass, or GCG, consists of five talented bluegrass musicians
who have been performing in the Charlottesville, Va. area for years and have
developed quite a reputation for their wide range of bluegrass styles. Be it
old-timey or hard-driving, they are sure to satisfy. With their smooth and
chilling vocals and their masterful, original musical arrangements, GCG has
a sound all of their own.

Mixing
together the all-natural ingredients of
America's own music, fiddle melodies from
Virginia's Appalachians, tight harmonies from
Kentucky's bluegrass and moving spirituals
from the Carolina hills, then folding in some
hearty laughter, they stock the Store with an
assortment of vocal refrains, good fiddlin'
and country humor that some say can turn apple
cider vinegar into sweet maple syrup.
